Trump forever

When the U.S. went to the polls on November 5th, it was nighttime here in Denmark. Normally, I greatly value my sleep, but that night I chose to stay up to witness the U.S. elect its first female president. That was not how it turned out.

Donald Trump once again managed to mislead millions of people in the U.S. But he’s had plenty of time to prepare. Not only because he has been able to position the right people in the right places — people who can cheat for him, people who can hand him power once again. Because that’s exactly what Donald Trump does. He will never be able to win in an honest way. But we will never truly find out how he actually managed to do it. Too many people are in his pocket across all branches of power in the U.S.

So now we must look ahead to Donald Trump taking over the White House. And what will it lead to? Or perhaps even start with? Well, we’ve seen in South Korea what a president can do. But, in fact, I had already speculated on this before what happened in South Korea: Can Donald Trump declare a state of emergency? He has said he would like to be a dictator for a day.

But it’s like the question I was asked as a child: If you had one wish that would be granted, no matter what, what would you wish for? I answered, “Then I would ask for infinite wishes that would all be granted.”

In other words, we are now merely waiting for Donald Trump to declare the U.S. under a martial law, and then he can do whatever he wants. Whenever he will. There will be no elections in 2028. And no one will successfully oppose him. We, in Europe and the rest of the free world, can write about what we think. But the U.S. will become Gilead (the name of the country after Christian idiots take over the country in the fictional but highly realistic books “The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margaret Atwood, red.).

Even If Donald Trump dies before November 5th, 2028, there still will be no elections. Crownprince J.D. Vance will take over.
