#MenSupportingWomen
Today, I read about a new hashtag that is being used on TikTok: #womansupportingwomen. This hashtag is being used to help women who, because of the disgusting, awful, nasty, dreadful, ghastly, horrible, foul, horrendous decision of the Supreme Court (of course, I am talking about Roe versus Wade) cannot fulfill their human right to abort.
I can’t say I am a woman. I don’t have female body parts, I don’t feel I am a woman (and never have). Even though I don’t use labels or boxes, the only reasonable term for my gender would be “man”. And that automatically disqualifies me from using the beforementioned hashtag (not the one in the title). So, I thought it would be time to create an additional hashtag. Of course, the original one is still very valuable, and it is in no way are substitute.
But … I don’t use social media. Not as a person, at least. My companies are on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, but I, as a person, am not. So, it’s a nearly impossible job to even start this hashtag: I should open a few accounts on those social media, then I should gather followers (a lot of them!) and then I possibly could have some kind of success with creating this hashtag. That is not going to happen. Because the need for the hashtag is now.
Therefore: if you are a man, and want to help women in need (on this subject, I mean): please use this hashtag! Just to stop the idiocy by Christian, Republican terrorists! #MenSupportingWomen
